EWS Elektrizitätswerke Schönau presents an annual award to so-called “Triple Impact Startups” that create social and ecological added value and at the same time have economically sound business models. InnoCharge has now been awarded the prestigious start-up prize by EWS Elektrizitätswerke Schönau by a jury of experts from the energy industry, investors and scientists. The award is endowed with a prize money of EUR 15,000.

“In most cases, electric cars are connected to a charging station for many hours. This opens up the possibility of flexibly controlling the charging process in order to charge in a green and cost-effective way – and that’s exactly what we do!” commented InnoCharge founders Manuel Lösch and Andreas Fischer at the award ceremony in the Kreativpark Lokhalle in Freiburg. The EWS writes: “In line with the EWS philosophy, we are not only looking for technical innovation, but also specifically for solutions that involve and empower people to help shape the energy transition.”
